The body of a man found Thursday morning along Cherry Creek near downtown Denver has been identified as 59-year-old Leonard Cichowicz Jr., according to a media release.

There were no obvious signs of trauma and the coroner’s office is awaiting the results of toxicology tests to determine a cause and manner of death.

Cichowicz was found on the Cherry Creek bike path just off of Speer Boulevard and Arapahoe Street. Police do not suspect foul play.

Cichowicz was dressed in light clothing and weather in Denver overnight Wednesday was wet and cold, with temperatures below freezing.
