Tree-mendous! Today from 9 a.m. to noon is the Denver Digs Tree Sale, offering more than 1,200 trees at three parks. Pacific Sunset Maple, Snow Fountains Weeping Cherry, Shademaster Honeylocust and Triumph Elm are just some of the available varieties. Trees are $45 for bare-root and $65 for balled and burlap- wrapped varieties. Cash or check only. The sale is organized by The Park People, a 41-year-old private organization that works to preserve, enhance and advocate for Denver’s parks.
