The technical problems plaguing Inc.’s Web services continued for a second day, but the Internet giant said it expected to resolve the issues by the end of Friday.
Amazon, which rents Web services and storage to companies, said it had made progress in fixing the outage, which has lingered for more than 24 hours and prompted some websites to move to contingency plans as they waited for a full recovery.
