Arapahoe Basin Ski Patrol reported a 100-inch base Tuesday morning just in time for the annual Locals’ Day party.

It’s the deepest the base has been all season. It’s also the deepest it’s been since 2003.

To celebrate, the Basin and KSMT The Mountain are throwing a Locals’ Day party today. It includes a free air and style competition in the Treeline Terrain Park with cash prizes. From noon to 2 p.m., enjoy barbeque specials, entertainment and giveaways at Black Mountain Lodge. Live music with Sam Adams and Jagermeister specials takes place in the base area from 1-4 p.m.

Demo Tech Nine gear and partake in the Silverthorne Recreation Center’s volleyball competition. KSMT is also putting on a scavenger hunt during the day.
