Police are investigating a robbery at a Fort Collins veterinary clinic Friday night.

At 8:05 p.m. on Friday, officers responded to a robbery at the South Mesa Veterinary Clinic at 3801 S. Mason St., according to a news release from the Fort Collins Police Services.

A woman reported hearing someone hitting the keypad at the back door. She opened the door – thinking it was an employee – and met two masked men, police said.

The men forced their way into the building, pushing the woman down. She had minor injuries.

The woman reported that the men demanded drugs and made references to having a weapon, but one was never seen. When the woman screamed the men fled through the back door with a “small amount” of drugs, police said.
