BOULDER — A 22-year-old man accused of fatally shooting a University of New Hampshire football player in Boulder during a botched robbery has been ordered to stand trial.

Kevin McGregor of Longmont is charged with first-degree murder and attempted robbery in the March 18 shooting of 20-year-old Todd Walker, who was home in Colorado on spring break.

The Daily Camera reported a judge ruled Wednesday that there’s enough evidence to pursue the case.
