BOYERO — Officials say a wildfire in Lincoln County that was threatening three houses has been fully contained.
Lincoln County sheriff’s officials said Thursday afternoon that the fire in Boyero grew to about 300 acres. They say 11 agencies were battling the fire, which is about 120 miles southeast of Denver. No structures have burned.
Officials say the fire started in three different locations before merging into one. It was possibly human caused.
