Ajayi averaged 9.5 points, 15.5 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game his senior season at Quality Education Academy in Winston-Salem, N.C. Shyatt said Ajayi needs to work on his offensive skills but should make his presence known immediately on the defensive end of the floor.
Shyatt’s other recruit announced Thursday is 5-9 point guard Derrious Gilmore, who played this past season at Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, Miss.
