That is to say that God’s Gift Achiuwa, a 6-foot-9 junior college All-America power forward who averaged 22.3 points on 56 percent shooting with 11.7 rebounds per game and 2.2 blocked shots as a sophomore at Erie (N.Y.) Community College, signed to play for the Red Storm. “I’m a religious kid, and that’s a good fit for me and my family,” said Achiuwa, who is the son of a Nigerian minister. God’s Gift has one older brother, Promise, and two younger brothers, God’s Will and Precious. His older sister is Grace, and his younger sister is Peace.
