AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo.—Personnel from the Air Force Academy are repairing hiking trails and building retaining walls at a Manitou Springs park.

A group of non-commissioned Air Force officers will be working on the project at Fields Park on Wednesday with the Rocky Mountain Field Institute.

They’ll also stabilize a creek bank, plant native vegetation and install matting to control erosion.

The group is called the Top III Council and is made up of senior non-commissioned officers.
