Authorities are investigating a bank robbery in Aurora this morning.

Shortly before 10 a.m. police were called to the Wells Fargo Bank at 999 S. Sable Blvd. on reports of a robbery, according to a news release from the Aurora Police Department.

Investigators learned that four suspects arrived at the bank in what witnessed described as an “older model black Jeep.” Three suspects entered the bank wearing masks while the getaway driver remained in the Jeep.

Witnesses described the suspects as three men and one woman. No one reported seeing a weapon.

The suspects fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

Officers later found the getaway vehicle abandoned in the 1000 block of S. Blackhawk Street.

Aurora police and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force are investigating the robbery.
