A woman was found dead in a home in the 1900 block of East 35th Street on Wednesday afternoon after family members asked police to check on her, said Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson.
A man was taken into custody at another location in the community a short time after the discovery.
“We’re investigating this as a domestic-violence situation at this point,” Jackson said, declining to specify the relationship.
He said later Wednesday that police had taken several people into custody. No names had been released.
