Thirty-four dogs rescued from floods in Arkansas have found shelter in Colorado, according to a news release from the Humane Society of Boulder Valley.
The transfer was organized by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, which has helped more than 1,000 animals affected by storms in the southern part of the country.
Three dogs will go to the Larimer Humane Society, 17 dogs to the Denver Dumb Friends League and 14 dogs to the Humane Society of Boulder Valley. Some may be available for adoption as early as Monday.
