Denver police are looking for witnesses to a shooting incident at a house party early this morning that left one woman dead and a man injured.
Police responding to a report of shots fired in the 2100 block of West Gill Place at about 2:22 a.m. found the victims.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and paramedics took the man to a hospital for treatment.
Investigators learned there was a house party going on at the time of the shooting. Several people fled the scene at the time of the shooting, according to a police statement.
Police have not yet released information about suspects or identified the victims.
