GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—Passenger traffic at Grand Junction Regional Airport is up through the first three months of the year, compared with the same period a year ago.
The Daily Sentinel reports 48,560 passengers flew out of the airport in the first quarter of the year. That’s a 2 percent increase over the same period last year.
American Eagle added a third daily flight from Grand Junction to Dallas in February, and last week, Continental Airlines launched two daily flights to Houston. Both of those changes add about 150 seats a day to the airport’s offered flights.
