DENVER—Colorado Rapids forward Omar Cummings is expected to be out two to four weeks with an ankle injury.

Cummings injured his ankle against Houston last week and missed the Rapids game against New England on Saturday. The team said Cummings had an MRI Monday that showed a “grade II” sprain that would keep him out of action for up to four weeks.

The Denver Post first reported how much time Cummings would miss.
