Two days of rain in most parts of the state have caused CHSAA to tweak the brackets for the state’s baseball tournaments.

Half of the Class 1A bracket has been pushed back to Monday, and Site 1 has moved from Thomas Jefferson High School to All-City Field in Denver.

Game times will remain the same, with Nucla and Simla playing at 10 a.m., and Holly and Fleming playing at 12:30 p.m. The semifinal game is scheduled for 3 p.m.

The plans for the second half of the 1A bracket remain unchanged.

In 2A, Region 2 has moved from All-City Field to All Star Park. Those games, though, will still be played on Saturday, and their start times are unaffected.

There were two changes two 4A’s brackets. District 3 play will begin at 3 p.m. with Thomas Jefferson and Longmont at All-City Field, followed by Northridge and Pueblo West at 5 p.m. The district championship is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The first pitch in District 7 has been moved back two hours. Wheat Ridge and John F. Kennedy will kick things off at noon, followed by Falcon and Palisade at 2:30 p.m. That championship game is scheduled for 5 p.m.

Earlier this week, 3A’s District 8 pushed all games up an hour to accommodate junior-college baseball games later in the day.

There were no changes to the 5A bracket.

Addition postponements to the brackets are possible.
