A teenager suspected of painting graffiti at a condominium complex has turned himself in, after finding out from his friends that his picture was being broadcast on television.
Boulder police had been looking for the man suspected of painting graffiti on Sunday, using a picture snapped by a resident.
A resident at the complex, located in the 1300 block of Rosewood Avenue, called police after the witness spotted a young man climb up a ladder and onto the roof, according to a news release from the Boulder Police Department.
The man fled the area before police arrived, but the resident was able to take his picture and give it to police.
After arriving, police found newly-painted graffiti on the building, an estimated $500 in damage.
