Today. Youngsters 5 and older can work with their parents to build a fairy or gnome hideout during a Kids Workshop at the Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls and Toys. Common household items such as yogurt containers and paper plates will be used to craft a mushroom- shaped home worthy of a fairy princess. Registration is required, but if this class is full, consider the other hands-on activities at the museum, like the rag-doll- making station. Workshop fees are $10 per child and $5 per adult; museum admission is included. 1880 Gaylord St.; 303-322-1053 or . Photo provided by Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls and Toys
