Colorado’s number of confirmed and suspected cases of equine herpes virus didn’t change Monday. All of the cases involve horses that were at a major horse competition in Utah or were exposed to those who attended the show.
The tally: nine confirmed cases of EHV-1, two of those horses euthanized, 22 suspected cases and 12 under quarantine and hold orders in eight counties.
