DENVER—The death of a man who fell about 20 feet at the Colorado Rockies’ stadium has been ruled accidental.

The Denver medical examiner’s office issued the ruling Friday in the death of 27-year-old Robert Seamans of Pueblo, Colo. The statement says Seamans died of blunt force trauma to his head.

Witnesses told police Seamans was trying to slide down a rail on a stairway at Coors Field during a game Tuesday afternoon when he lost his balance and fell.

A full autopsy report will be available once toxicology tests are completed. Results could take weeks.
