Average retail gasoline prices continued to fall in Denver last week with the average cost per gallon at $3.68 – well below the national average of $3.77 a gallon, according to the gasoline price website .
Prices in Denver on Sunday were $1.08 a gallon higher than the same day one year ago and 5.4 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.
In Denver, the average cost of a gallon fell 1.8 cents last week while it fell 3.2 cents per gallon nationally.
The national average has decreased 13.7 cents per gallon during the last month and stands $1.04 a gallon higher than this day one year ago.
