Three businesses — a Cuban sandwich bistro, a pita restaurant and a furniture store — recently leased space at the Village Shopping Center in Boulder.
Cuba Cuba Sandwicheria, a fast-casual Cuban restaurant started by the owners of the Cuba Café & Bar in Denver, leased a 1,515-square-foot space facing Arapahoe on the southern end of the center. The restaurant is expected to serve Cuban-style sandwiches and entrée dishes such as picadillo and lechon, officials said.
An Extreme Pita franchise, the first in Colorado for the Ontario-based pita restaurant chain, recently opened in a 1,400-square-foot space next door to Cuba Cuba, which is currently under construction.
Forma Furniture, a second location for the Scandinavian furniture retailer in Fort Collins, leased a 2,313-square-foot space near Canyon Boulevard and Folsom Street. The store is expected to open on June 17.
