Former Qwest general counsel Rich Baer has joined Minnetonka, Minn.-based UnitedHealth Group as chief legal officer and executive vice president.
Baer will report to UnitedHealth chief executive Stephen Hemsley and will oversee the company’s legal, regulatory and compliance matters.
Baer also had served as Qwest’s chief administrative officer.
