Zavella, a Denver-based company that makes organic bamboo and organic cotton clothing, will present an evening of art and fashion benefiting Denver Urban Gardens from 7 to 9 p.m. June 9 at NOW Art Space, 3977 Tennyson St. A show of Zavella designs will highlight the event, including tops, dresses, skirts and hoodies for active pursuits like yoga or casual wear. A percentage of sales of the apparel made that night will go to DUG’s community gardens programs. DUG, which started 25 years ago, opened its 100th garden last year.
