The person killed when his car was hit head-on by a man driving the wrong way on Interstate 70 has been identified as Felipe G. Villegas-Flores, 41, of Golden.
Jason Brito, 34, faces a charge of vehicular homicide for the Sunday morning incident.
Police say Brito was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of I-70 near Quebec Street around 2 a.m. when his Jeep Cherokee hit Villegas-Flores’ Nissan Sentra head-on.
Villegas-Flores was pronounced dead at the scene.
