MONTROSE, Colo.—Montrose County says it wants to reassess plans to help a German aircraft company build a manufacturing plant.

According to the Montrose Daily Press, numbers on jobs projections have changed along with initial plans for the county to assume $6 million to $8 million in debt in building the necessary facilities and taxiways.

Negotiations to bring EXTRA Aircraft have gone on for more than a year, including preliminary discussions before the company’s announcement in 2010 that it was coming to Montrose.
