After years of using other company’s products, Denver-based makeup artist and stylist Tina Higgins is launching her own cosmetics line. The first product in the Évellier collection is a group of five lipstains that Higgins is introducing from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Haley’s Heart boutique, 200 Quebec St., Building 300, Suite 109. Higgins, who has been in the fashion industry for 15 years and has worked with a number of cosmetic lines, developed the product so that the color would be long-lasting but not drying. At $32, it’s more expensive than most, but she says that because you need to apply it infrequently, it will outlast others. Saturday’s event is taking place at the same time as the Lowry Wine Walk and Concert. Those who pay $15 can have wine and hors d’oeuvres at participating stores. More at
