FORT COLLINS, Colo.—The suspect in the punching death of a man in Old Town Fort Collins is denying involvement in the death of a 24-year-old father of three.
Nathan Engle died Sunday after being punched. Witnesses say 24-year-old Terance Wilson of Fort Collins punched him in the head and Engle collapsed.
The Larimer County Coroner’s Office on Tuesday ruled Engle’s death a homicide.
Police arrested Wilson immediately after the assault. Wilson remains at the Larimer County Detention Center, charged with assault.
Wilson told KUSA-TV that he was leaving the club when the incident occurred.
An arrest affidavit says he had broken bones in his hand consistent with a fight.
