Colorado State University announced a collaboration with East China Normal University to explore new energy solutions and gauge their impact on natural resources.
The two institutions signed the agreement today in Shanghai to encourage student exchange programs and research through the Joint Research Institute for New Energy.
The institute will address energy and environmental issues throug the lens of science, technology, policy and education. CSU already has about 150 faculty who study clean and renewable energy and even more researching the environment.
The joint effort is one of several the school has in China. CSU also has partners at Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University, Human University, China Agricultural University and Beijing Normal University.
