GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—Mesa County sheriff’s officials say a paraglider has been taken to a hospital after falling about 250 feet when his paraglider failed.
Mesa County sheriff’s officials say the 59-year-old man was alert and talking to rescuers Saturday morning. Details on his injuries weren’t immediately known.
He was paragliding in the area of 3 Road, about 2 miles north of U.S. 6 and U.S. 50.
