LITTLETON, Colo.—Arapahoe County deputies are trying to determine why it took 3 hours for the parents of a 2-year-old child to report him missing.
The boy was found wandering in the road on Monday night. The boy was turned over to Human Services when no one came forward.
Deputies said someone called authorities about 10 p.m. to report the boy missing from an apartment complex. The apartment complex was a half mile from where the boy was found.
According to KMGH-TV, authorities are not releasing the name of the child or his parents.
Deputies said an investigations will determine if any criminal charges will be filed
