LOVELAND, COLO. — A group spearheading a new Colorado business park to cultivate innovative technology has chosen a Minneapolis company to develop its proposed campus.
The Colorado Association for Manufacturing and Technology said last week United Properties will help develop the Aerospace and Clean Energy Manufacturing and Innovation Park at the former Agilent Technologies campus in Loveland.
The association and United Properties plan to purchase the 167-acre site from the city of Loveland. The Loveland Reporter-Herald reports the city retains some rights to open space and water.
The association says the site could house up to 70 businesses and create up to 10,000 jobs statewide.
The goal is to turn NASA-controlled patents into products. The association has a 5-year deal with NASA to develop the park.
United Properties also has offices in Denver.
