A 48-year-old woman has been arrested as a suspect in a double stabbing that left one man dead and another in critical condition.

Karen Cordova, of Erie, is being held without bond at the Weld County Jail on suspicion of homicide and attempted homicide, according to a media release from the Weld County Sheriff’s Office.

A 40-year-old man from Erie is in critical condition at Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center in Lafayette.

Erickson had driven himself home early Saturday and was then rushed to the hospital.

Investigators found the body of a man, who was also stabbed, at a home just outside of Erie on Monday afternoon. His name was not released.
