Lockheed Martin has paired with Fulcrum Vets LLC to be among the first companies to support a new federal initiative to increase contracting opportunities for small, disadvantaged or veteran-owned businesses.
Teamed as a mentor-protege program, the Lockheed-Fulcrum match was selected by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as part of the new program.
Fulcrum is a Maryland-based disabled-veteran-owned business that specializes in information technology services. The two companies have worked together over the past year as a way of fostering a long-term relationship doing business with federal agencies.
The companies currently work together on Medicare and Medicaid contracts involving information technology.
