Great Outdoors Colorado on Wednesday said its board has approved grants of $500,000 in lottery proceeds that will provide summer jobs to 200 Coloradans ages 16 to 25.
The funds are for local government and open-space organizations to use on outdoor-recreation and land-conservation projects. Those employed are members of groups across the state that are part of the Colorado Youth Corps Association.
