Two men cycling across the country to raise money for kids affected by congenital heart defects are making their way through Colorado.

Nels Matson is a congenital heart defect survivor, and Nick Bust is the husband of a survivor. They hope to raise $75,000 for The Children’s Heart Foundation as they bike more than 3,800 miles from San Francisco to New York.

Their trip began June 1. They passed through southwest Colorado earlier this week on their way to the Denver area, and they plan to travel through northeast Colorado this weekend.
