Denver Triathlon
July 23-24: Independent Endurance Sports presents this inaugural triathlon July 24. The main competition features a 1,500-meter swim (one mile), 40-kilometer bike ride (25 miles) and a 10-kilometer run (6.2 miles). This race has been sanctioned by the USA Triathlon Association, a governing body of the United States Olympic Committee. Athletes can also compete in the Sprint Triathlon that includes an 800 meter swim (half mile), 10 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run. A “Kids That Tri Duathlon” is July 23 along with a Health & Fitness Expo and packet pick-up at Invesco Field at Mile High.
