A former high school teacher in Fountain has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault of a child.
Anthony J. Ribaudo, 36, of Fountain, is suspected of having sexual contact with a student in May, according to a Fountain Police Department media release.
Ribaudo, a former teacher at Fountain-Fort Carson High School who coached the boy’s varsity basketball team, resigned from his position on Monday.
He was arrested today on suspicion of sexual assault on a child by person in a position of trust.
The felony assault allegedly took place in May and the investigation is ongoing.
