Police and firefighters are investigating the discovery of a body in the South Platte River in Denver.
A passerby spotted the body at about 9 a.m. in the water along the river near 20th and Little Raven streets, said Sonny Jackson, a Denver Police Department spokesman.
Police, who were at the scene this morning, are calling the case a death investigation.
