DENVER—Denver Mayor-elect Michael Hancock is hosting the first in a series of meetings with business leaders to talk about economic development.
The meeting Thursday morning at a clean energy manufacturing facility in Denver is part of Hancock’s goal to meet with 100 business leaders in 100 days.
Hancock easily defeated former Sen. Chris Romer earlier this month and will be sworn in as mayor on July 18. He succeeds interim Mayor Guillermo “Bill” Vidal, who took over when John Hickenlooper became governor in January.
