A rotund robber apparently disguised in a dark wig and fake beard held up a Central City casino Thursday just after midnight and strolled away with a “rolling gait,” witnesses told police.
The brazen armed robbery happened at the Dostal Alley pub and casino, after the robber played the slots for a few minutes, then walked over to the cashier’s cage, pulled out a pistol and demanded cash, according to the Central City Police Department.
The man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, and no one was injured. The robber was described as white, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and about 300 pounds.
He wore a green hoodie, jeans and a white baseball cap with an emblem on it. The team was not disclosed.
