AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo.—Members of the Air Force Academy class of 2015 are starting basic cadet training.
The new class of cadets is arriving at the academy Thursday.
The incoming 1,159 cadets include nine from other countries, including the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and Georgia. The cadets were chosen from over 12,000 applicants.
Training runs through July 30 and will include physical conditional, weapons training, first aid and ethics lessons, among other things.
The cadets will swear to the Honor Oath and start classes Aug. 4.
