STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Federal regulators have barred a former assistant vice president at Yampa Valley Bank in Steamboat Springs from conducting affairs for any bank again.
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. disclosed Friday that Lucy A. Middleton consented to the order.
The FDIC has said Middleton controlled the bank’s automated teller system and cash on hand from Aug. 7, 2006, to Sept. 8, 2009.
In December, the FDIC alleged Middleton used her position to take $92,000 from the bank but that she returned $15,000 of that after the alleged misconduct was discovered and she was fired.
