DENVER—Former Denver Post editor Gil Spencer has died of an infection.
According to the Denver Post, the 85-year-old Spencer died Friday in New York City after undergoing treatment for an infection.
Spencer was editor of The Post from 1989 to 1993. He spent four decades at papers in Philadelphia as well as New Jersey, New York and Colorado.
