A car that was stolen at gunpoint Sunday in Fort Collins was located today, and two men were arrested in connection to the crime.
On Sunday, a 62-year-old woman reported that when she was getting out of her car in the parking lot of an apartment complex, two men approached, pointed a silver handgun at her and demanded the car. The suspects fled in her vehicle.
The victim was in the process of moving, and had her personal belongings in the car.
Larimer County Sheriffs located the car at a motel parking lot when they were called to the area on a report of a suspicious occurance.
Sheriff deputies determined it was the same car that was stolen on Sunday and called Fort Collins police who recovered the vehicle, and then located the two suspects in the same motel.
Shawn Cole Camu, 23, of Pueblo, and Paul W. Lord, 27, of Arizona were taken into questioning and later arrested.
They are both being held on felony charges of aggravated robbery, aggravated motor vehicle theft, and theft.
The incident remains under investigation.
