A man accused of kidnapping and assaulting an 8-year-old girl early this month has been returned to Denver.
Bret Lee Luckett Thompson, 27, was in the Denver County Detention Center on Friday evening after being transported from New Jersey.
Thompson was arrested in North Brunswick, N.J. on June 13, 11 days after the girl was kidnapped from the 400 block of South Raleigh Street and sexually assaulted before being released about an hour and a half later.
