A motorcycle driver who died in a hit-and-run crash in Denver over the weekend has been identified.

Abdul Alhilo, 25, of Denver, was pronounced dead at the Denver Health Medical Center, according to the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.

Alhilo was driving a motorcycle at about 8:45 p.m. Sunday south on South Federal Boulevard near West Dakota Avenue when the bike hit the back of the Jeep, according to the Denver Police Department.

The Jeep driver pulled into a nearby parking lot, then ran from the vehicle, police said.

The driver of the Jeep remains at large.
