TerreStar Networks, a wireless- communications company, will cancel a planned auction and seek court approval for a $1.38 billion sale to Dish Network, a person familiar with the matter said.
TerreStar plans to proceed with the Dish deal after no bidders met a 5 p.m. deadline Monday, said a person with direct knowledge of the matter who didn’t want to be identified.
