LAKEWOOD, Colo.—A man suspected of planting explosive devices at a bookstore in Lakewood was convicted five years ago of detonating a dry-ice bomb outside a Glendale strip club, according to court records.

Police say 30-year-old David Joseph Lawless was arrested Saturday on charges of drunken driving and resisting arrest after an accident in Clear Creek County west of Denver and is being held in jail there.

He’s not charged with anything in the Borders case, but police identified him Tuesday as their only suspect.

According to the Denver Post, Lawless was arrested for possession of an incendiary device and illegal weapon possession in Glendale. He was sentenced to two years’ probation in 2006.
